Boot Button Bears

My name is Christine Child and I have been creating Bears since the beginning of the Century!!   I only use the best quality materials for creating my bears, and these include Mohairs, Vintage Recycled Fur and Imported Faux Furs.  Glass and Boot Button Eyes are also used, along with new polyflock and woodwool.     Stainless steel or plastic pellets are used also inside the buins tummy for a cuddly weighted feel.  Foot Pads and pawpads are always made from either 100% woollen felt, ultrasuede, leather or vintage fabrics.

 All Boot Button Bears are double stitched to ensure a lifetime of hugs and cuddles and are created in a non-smoking environment.

I design and create all of my bears myself, and it is still the greatest joy to me to see a little face and body emerge from what was once just a piece of fur.  I feel delighted that my bears have found homes all over the world, and are certainly much better travelled than I am!!   I never have any qualms about sending a little bear off on his travels to a new home as I know that bear collectors are a very special group of people, and I know that they take as much care in looking after my bears and treasuring them, as I do in creating them.
